Nick Cannon regrets lowballing his $10 million insurance policy on his balls: 'Should’ve been $12 million'
The father of 12 pointed out that the policy could have secured $1 million "for each kid."
Nick Cannon has a single regret about insuring his balls — he should’ve aimed for a higher payout.
In June, the Masked Singer host and notorious father of 12 announced via social media that soap company Dr. Squatch had insured his “family jewels” for $10 million, making them “the most valuable balls in the world.” But now that some time has passed, Cannon believes his, uh, assets were undervalued.
"It wasn't enough," he told E! News in a new interview. "Should've been $12 million, one for each kid."
As for those still confused about this unusual insurance policy, Canon laid it out plainly.
"You hear all these supermodels insuring their legs for millions of dollars, why shouldn't I insure my best assets?" the 43-year-old argued. "I gotta make sure my kids are taken care of when my manhood no longer works."
All that said, Cannon has no plans to retire his little Cannons any time soon. "I still got a long way to go,” he shared.
Upon announcing the insurance policy, Cannon said in a statement, "Haters say it’s time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest, but I’m doubling down on these valuable balls and my future kids. Shoutout to Dr. Squatch for giving my balls the credit they deserve and hooking me up with the protection I need to keep this family tree rolling!”

Cannon certainly isn’t the first celebrity to protect a prized physical feature: his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, put $35 million insurance policies on her legs and vocal cords. Rihanna famously had her legs insured for $1 million courtesy of Gillette, while America Ferrera had her smile insured by Aquafresh for $10 million. Even the late Tina Turner took precautions, taking out a $3.2 million policy on her legs.
Cannon’s most valuable body part has famously made him a father of 12. He shares 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with Carey; 7-year-old Golden, Powerful Queen, who is nearly 4 years old, and 1-year-old Rise Messiah, with Brittany Bell; 3-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and Beautiful Zeppelin, who is nearly 2 years old, with Abby De La Rosa; 2-year-old Legendary with Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi; 2-year-old Onyx Ice with LaNisha Cole; and Halo Marie, who turns 2 in December, with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott also lost a 5-month-old baby boy, Zen, to brain cancer in 2021.
