Yet another Golden Globes ceremony is in the books. The awards show took place on Sunday, January 5, and saw some of the biggest actors and actresses come together for a night of fashion, celebrating their work, and drinking a bit too much during the telecast to be totally sober—but perhaps the best moments are the ones that happen offscreen. Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek are proof, as the two had a sweet friendship moment on the red carpet.

Kidman and Hayek were seen sharing an embrace and a conversation during the red carpet at the Golden Globes. During their interaction, Hayek took a closer look at Kidman's custom Balenciaga twisted-back gown that gave the illusion of it being backless due to its sheer panel. The pair also frequently held hands while talking and had nothing but admiration in their eyes for each other.

The actress's reunion comes after they were both spotted sitting front row last year at Balenciaga's Spring 2025 runway show as part of Paris Ready to Wear Fashion Week on September 30—Hayek, alongside her husband, François-Henri Pinault, sat next to Kidman; on the other sides of the actresses were Bill Skarsgård and Anna Wintour respectively.

Kidman was nominated at the 2025 Golden Globes in the best actress in a motion picture, drama category for her work in Babygirl; the award ultimately went to Fernanda Torres for I'm Still Here. Hayek attended the ceremony as a presenter, and alongside Colman Domingo gave the list of nominees for the best television female actor, drama series category, with the award going to Anna Sawai for her work as Lady Mariko in FX's series Shōgun.
