This nifty new app gives you access to more than 20 co-working spaces around Singapore

Here’s another app that aims to make you that much lazier life that much easier for you. Local start-up workbuddy is a newly launched program, and it gives workers constantly on the move easy access to its partnering co-working spaces across the country.

Self-billed as Singapore’s first “office in your pocket” solution, the app currently has a list of over 20 co-working spaces that you can pop by to book desks on demand and get serious stuff done anytime you want. For now, names include Mox at Katong, CoQoons at HarbourFront Place, Servcorp Metropolis at Buona Vista, JustCo at Marina One, and Distrii at Republic Plaza.

Sure, its connections are not quite as vast as they could be – we’ve got more than 200 of such spaces – but workbuddy is determined to keep expanding its locations in time to come.

Similar to membership subscriptions at co-working spaces, users will have to pay a fee of either $129 for a five-day pass or $299 for an unlimited monthly pass, and everyone from freelancers to start-ups to multinational enterprises are welcome.

If you’re a flexible worker who’s always on the go, then this might be a pretty good alternative to being just another Starbucks regular vying for table space.

The app is free to download on iOS and Android.
