Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Sept 09 (ANI): A total 68 samples have been tested negative in the state for Nipah virus, said Kerala Health Minister Veena George. George also said that situation is under control. “Seven more samples of people in isolation (for possible cases of Nipah virus) at Kozhikode Medical College turned negative today. A total of 68 samples tested negative. A house-to-house survey was conducted in Chathamangalam, no unnatural fever, death was reported,” said the Kerala Health Minister. On COVID situation in the state Veena George said, “From June 15 to September 90% of COVID deaths was of people who were unvaccinated and also had some comorbidities”.
