ALOR STAR: Pas has decided it will not work with Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) as the new political party "lacks direction".
Its president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said after an evaluation, the Islamic party decided not to form any cooperation with PPBM as the latter appeared to be "directionless".
"...(We) Don't even know who the leader is?... Who is the 'imam' (leader) and who are the 'makmum' (followers)?
"This is why we have decided not to have any relations with them," he said at a Press conference at the Pas 63rd Muktamar here, today.
PPBM had officially joined Pakatan Harapan in March, making them the fourth political party in the opposition coalition.
It was reported that Hadi had said that Pas would not cooperate with PPBM, following the party's decision to join Pakatan Harapan.
