No place for violence in democracy: I&B minister Anurag Thakur

Chandigarh, Aug 19 (ANI): The Calcutta High Court on August 19 ordered a court-monitored Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the incidents of post-poll violence in West Bengal. Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur welcomed the decision and said that there is no place for violence in democracy. ‘We welcome the court's decision. In a democracy, everyone has the right to spread their ideology but one is allowed to spread violence. There is no place for violence in democracy.’
