No Russian cruise missiles pierce Kyiv's air defenses, though falling debris caused a fire

Russia attacked Kyiv with cruise missiles on the night of May 31, all targets were destroyed, Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) reported on Telegram.

The Air Force is still compiling information about the type and quantity of weapons used by the enemy.

A fire broke out in a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi district because of falling debris. Emergency services are on site.

There were no preliminary reports of casualties, though information is still being clarified.

"Once again, I strongly ask the citizens of Kyiv to treat air warning signals responsibly," Kyiv City Council head Serhiy Popko said.

"The enemy is insidious and every such anxiety is a real danger to life. Take care, use shelters!"
