Two-time Dota 2 International winners OG released a new video on Wednesday (7 April) to announce that they were joining BMW esports' Rivalry family.

However, it was the easter eggs in the video that had Dota fans talking.

The video features Danish professional Johan "N0tail" Sundstein as he pauses a game of Dota 2 to get the door, a delivery from BMW with new OG jerseys, sunflowers and bananas (banANAs?).

He goes on to don his own jersey, then walks into the practice room, placing jerseys for Sébastien "Ceb" Debs, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen and Martin "Saksa" Sazdov before stopping at an unseen and unnamed player. The video ends with a shot of BMW's logo on the OG jersey.

In between, the monitors show the four OG members together with G2's Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, a League of Legends player, in an OG jersey, as well as a cheeky jab at rivals Fnatic, whose Dota 2 team play in the Southeast Asian region. Rekkles also spent 8 years as a Fnatic LoL player before moving to G2 last year.

Speculation about OG's new member has been plenty, especially after Malaysian pro Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng was released when the team failed to qualify for the Singapore Major.

Many of OG's fans are hoping to see TI8 and TI9 winner Anathan "ana" Pham, who popularised the use of Io as a carry, return to the team.

The Australian professional had announced that he would be taking a break from competitive Dota 2 after OG won The International 2019 in Shanghai, but remains on the team's inactive roster.

OG missed the Singapore Major, coming in fifth behind Team Secret, Alliance, Team Nigma and Team Liquid.

However, the EU's top teams did not fair well in first major of 2021, with Nigma bowing at the wildcard stage, Alliance failing to making it out of the group stage, and Team Liquid and Team Secret both getting dispatched by Chinese teams in the playoffs.
