Arsenal travel to Athens to take on Olympiacos in the last 32 of the Europa League knowing this could be their best chance to salvage their season and claim Champions League football next year.

The Gunners fell one short last term with defeat to Chelsea in the final.

The Blues are just seven points away in fourth, but the issue may be the five other teams between them, meaning the Europa League could emerge as Mikel Arteta’s priority.

In what could be the first step for the Spaniard towards the final in Gdansk, the Gunners will have to carry over their form from the weekend against Pedro Martins’ side, who put up a fight against Bayern and Tottenham in the Champions League group stage.

Here is everything you need to know about the Olympiacos match.

When is the match?

The match kicks off at 8pm at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus, Athens on 20 February.

What TV channel is it on? Is there a live stream?

The match will be shown on BT Sport 2 for UK subscribers with coverage starting at 8pm immediately after Club Brugge against Manchester United, which kicks off at 5:15pm.

Fans can obtain a live stream through the BT Sport App on mobile devices.

Line-ups

Olympiacos: Sa, Elabdellaoui, Semedo, Ba, Tsimikas, Bouchalakis, Camara, Guilherme, Masouras, El-Arabi, Valbuena

Arsenal: Leno; Mustafi, Sokratis, David Luiz, Saka; Guendouzi, Xhaka; Martinelli, Willock, Aubameyang; Lacazette

Prediction

The fortuitous Alexandre Lacazette goal in stoppage time against Newcastle will see the Frenchman confident once more, with the squad all seemingly buying into Arteta’s philosophy. We expect the Gunners to score away from home, but the Greek side have a strong home record after beating Red Star, giving Spurs a scare in a 2-2 draw and pushing Bayern in a 3-2 loss. We’ll opt for a 2-2 draw in Athens.
