Once Upon a Time in Baby News: Quentin Tarantino & Daniella Pick Welcome Their First Child

Quentin Tarantino might’ve already won a few awards this year but he just earned the ultimate honor...becoming a first-time dad.

The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director and his wife Daniella Pick welcomed their first child together on Saturday. A rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Pick gave birth to a baby boy.

According to The Jerusalem PostPick gave birth in Tel Aviv, Israel, at the Ichilov hospital. The actress and model is originally from Israel and met Tarantino while he was promoting Inglorious Basterds in the country. They wed in a private ceremony in Los Angeles in 2018 before announcing the pregnancy news in August the following year.

In an interview with Yediot Aharonot, the new dad spoke about his experience in Israel and how he plans to incorporate both American and Israeli culture in his child's upbringing, including teaching him Hebrew (which he showed after his Golden Globe win for Best Screenplay).

The Pulp Fiction director confirmed he’ll step away from directing after his 10th film to spend more time with his family. "I kind of like that now it's time for this third act to just lean a little bit more into the literary, lean a little bit more into the writing, which would be good as a new father, as a new husband," he said in a Popcorn with Peter Travers interview. "I wouldn't be grabbing my family and yanking them to Germany or Sri Lanka or wherever the next story takes place. I can be a little bit more of a homebody, and become a little bit more of a man of letters."

No more details have been provided about the new member of the Tarantino family, but congrats to the new parents!
