ONE Championship Reveals 16 Candidates For ‘The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition’

ONE Championship previously announced that “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” will premiere on 18 March on select channels across Asia.

Now, the organization has released a video introducing the 16 candidates who will appear on the show and compete for a one-year, US$250,000 contact to work as ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong’s protege.

The candidates come from 11 different countries across the world: Singapore, New Zealand, United States, Russia, Venezuela, Germany, Philippines, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand.

All of them also have unique stories and backgrounds.

Singaporean Alvin Ang, for instance, was raised in Thailand. At 7 years old, he was sent to a temple to become a monk and later founded the Singapore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open competition.

Compatriot Joy Koh is a gymnastics instructor who was bullied and body-shamed as a child but has since made it her mission to instill positive self-images in children.

Outside of Singapore are candidates like Sho Takei, a Japanese entrepreneur who has a knack for starting up businesses and living under the Bushido code, and American Roman Wilson, a former collegiate football player turned food and agriculture investor.

Catch the first episode of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” by tuning in to AXN on 18 March at 8:50 p.m. SGT or Mediacorp on 24 March at 11 p.m.

In the meantime, download the ONE Super App to catch ONE: FISTS OF FURY on 26 February from Singapore, where reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Ilias Ennahachi will defend his strap against #2-ranked contender “The Kicking Machine” Superlek Kiatmoo9.
