ONE Championship Signs 5-Time MMA Champion Stephen Loman

ONE Championship continues to fill up its deep pool of bantamweight talent.

Earlier this week, the promotion announced it signed five-time Mixed Martial Arts Champion Stephen “The Sniper” Loman.

The Filipino trains out of Team Lakay in Baguio City alongside former ONE World Champions Honorio “The Rock” Banario, Eduard “Landslide” Folayang, Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon, and Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, as well as with reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio.

“It’s an overwhelming opportunity, but I’m excited to join my Team Lakay brothers in the biggest martial arts organization in the world,” Loman said.

“I’m excited to enhance my skills on this platform and showcase my style to millions of viewers across the globe.”

Loman is entering The Home Of Martial Arts on an eight-bout winning streak after dominating in Brave Combat Federation, where he became a five-time bantamweight champion.

He’s now looking to showcase his elite skills on the global stage of martial arts, where plenty of established stars would love to test his mettle.

“Of course, fighting in a new promotion and a new environment will be a challenge, but it’s one I’m more than willing to face,” Loman added.

“I’m ready to show ONE Championship fans the best of Stephen Loman.”

Having trained with many past and present ONE World Champions at Team Lakay, Loman will certainly have a great squad supporting him when he debuts.

Moreover, he’ll have a legendary coach in his corner.

“I spoke to Stephen and he’s highly motivated right now,” said Mark Sangiao, head coach of Team Lakay.

“He can’t wait to get in the Circle and put on a show. Of course, I’ll be there for him, as well as all of his teammates at Team Lakay, every step of the way.”
