ONE And Microsoft Partner To Revolutionize The Martial Arts Viewing Experience

ONE Championship has recently partnered up with Microsoft Corp. – and the martial arts world may have just gotten a little more interesting because of it.

The largest global sports media property in Asian history announced on 7 July that they have teamed up with one of the largest tech companies in the world to enhance the way people experience ONE’s martial arts spectacles.

ONE will leverage AI-powered computing engines in Microsoft’s Azure to deliver tailor-made viewing experiences to millions of martial arts fans around the world. For example, in the future, fans will be able to get real-time feedback on the strength of a kick or punch as they watch a bout unfold in the Circle.

The partnership between the two giants will also make it easier for fans to watch and enjoy ONE’s content offerings. This is major news since COVID-19 has shifted most of the sports world online.

Fans won’t be the only ones benefiting from the collaboration. Athletes will also reap some advantages. Using holographic computing, AI, and machine learning, competitors will discover ways to prevent injuries.

ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong expressed his excitement with being able to reinvent the way martial arts fans experience ONE’s live events.

“I am thrilled to announce that ONE Championship has officially partnered with Microsoft to deliver fans the absolute best in data-driven digital experiences,” Sityodtong said.

“ONE Championship is a global leader in live sports, and through the Microsoft cloud, we can accelerate our capabilities and digital presence.”

Jean-Philippe Courtois, EVP and President of Microsoft Global Sales, Marketing & Operations is optimistic about the partnership with the martial arts organization.

“Demand for digital experiences has never been higher and our partnership with ONE Championship – a leader in sports entertainment with the largest and most rapidly growing millennial fan base – will enable them to deliver on this opportunity in innovative new ways and enhance the services they provide for supporters, athletes and employees,” he said.

“We’re looking forward to working with ONE to help accelerate its digital transformation for the benefit of millions of sports fans around the world.”

ONE will also take part in the Microsoft-powered Global Sports Innovation Centre (GSIC), a collaboration between private, public, and academic sectors whose mission is to transform the sports world.

ONE returns to the martial arts world with ONE: NO SURRENDER, scheduled for Friday, 31 July, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Fans all around the world can watch the promotion’s flagship event for free by downloading the ONE Super App.
