The One Show confirms Matt Baker's final show is still March 31 following self-isolation
The One Show has confirmed that Matt Baker's final day on the programme will still be on Tuesday (March 31) following his period of self-isolation.
Matt confirmed back in December that he would be quitting the BBC One chat show, with his final day confirmed to be tomorrow. But after Matt went into self-isolation earlier this month, viewers were left wondering whether his departure from the show would be delayed.
But as Matt's co-host Alex Jones signed off today's (March 30) show, which she presented alongside Amol Rajan, she confirmed that tomorrow still marks Matt's final day on the programme.

"We'll be back tomorrow, and it's going to be a really difficult day for us because Matt is leaving," Alex explained. "But we have got a great show planned, so we'll see you then."
Tonight's show also featured a special segment from Matt himself, who put together a film about how the nation is adapting and turning to technology to stay connected during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

"Made a film from home for tonight's @bbctheoneshow. I video-called some wonderful Oneshow viewers!!" he noted on Instagram.
"I made it on my mobile!! Can't believe it's my last show tomorrow."

There's no confirmation yet that Matt Baker will be back in the studio to mark his final day on the show, but there's no doubt we'll definitely be hearing from the presenter as he prepares to bow out after nearly 10 years with the programme.
