Online printing service Gogoprint has secured US$7.7M Series A funding
The company is looking at expansion to neighboring countries like Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea within the next twelve months
Gogoprint, the online printing service in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, announced today that it has raised a Series A funding worth of US$7.7 million. The funding was led by Online Printing Group (OPG) supporting the company’s vision to accelerate product development and to open up business across the Asia Pacific market.
“Gogoprint is seeing tremendous demand for our services from small and medium businesses across Asia-Pacific,” said David Berghaeuser, co-Founder and Managing Director of Gogoprint.

With a vision to make ordering printing products easy and cost-effective the company targets small-and medium-sized businesses to market their businesses and growth. Gogoprint was founded and first launched in Thailand in November 2015.
Now, the company has worked with over 45,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups across Asia-Pacific, offering the production of stationeries and promotional purposes printing such as business cards, flyers, booklets, promotional pens, and flash drives.
The company utilises a unique algorithmic-matching-technology that allows businesses to secure customised and high-quality printed materials with greater convenience, cost-effective rates, and faster turnaround times. Their proprietary algorithmic software help to manage and pool together client orders, distribute the cost of printing via its network of over hundreds of printing partners.
“Many big-name online printers operates in the region, but each of them has localised operations as they have been unable to truly expand regionally into Southeast Asia due to operational and market form challenges. Gogoprint has found the formula to win more customers by providing something at a cheaper price point, and with an enhanced speed to market,” said Kai Hagenbuch, Director at OPG.

Right now, Gogoprint has operations across Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, with a headcount of 125 staff and plans to hire an additional 30 more. The company has worked with Honda, Lazada, Lion Air, Yamaha, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and Booking.com.
The company has also offered a business scale-up to its clients by becoming a marketplace for printing suppliers that would provide clients with the opportunity to grow their revenue base and keep their print machines utilised at optimal levels, all while maintaining competitive prices for clients.
