Online real estate company PropertyGuru appoints Daan Prince as CFO
Finance leader with 12 years of experience in Asian and European technology markets joins PropertyGuru, completing the executive leadership team

Asia’s online real estate major PropertyGuru Group has appointed Daan Prince as Chief Financial Officer, effective 6 June 2016.
Prince – whose expertise lies in value creation, business growth and change management – will oversee the financial and operational aspects of PropertyGuru across all its markets. He will work alongside the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors to drive and execute the group’s regional growth strategy.
Prior to joining PropertyGuru, Prince spent the bulk of his 12-year career at Royal Philips. In his most recent role as Finance Director at Lumileds Singapore, he led the successful global implementation of SAP for the Finance function at all Lumileds sites and was instrumental in helping Lumileds spin-off from Royal Philips.

Prince completed the Leading for Results programme at INSEAD and obtained an Executive Master degree in Finance and Control from TiasNimbas Business School, the Netherlands.
“The company (PropertyGuru) has already undergone an impressive growth journey towards becoming the leader in online property search in this region. I hope to bring fresh and innovative ideas on how PropertyGuru can continue that journey sustainably while harnessing operational efficiencies,” he said in a statement.
Founded in 2006, PropertyGuru received Southeast Asia’s second largest tech investment in 2015, and is backed by a world-class investor base that includes TPG, an investor in Uber and Airbnb; Emtek, a renowned media conglomerate in Indonesia; and Square Peg Capital, an Australia-founded investor of Internet companies.
