Oreo Is Releasing a Red Supreme Cookie, and Fashion Has Never Tasted So Good
Maybe a $400 Supreme sweatshirt isn’t in your budget, but you can still get your hands on the streetwear brand in the form of … an Oreo? In the collaboration we weren’t anticipating, Supreme and Oreo have teamed up to make the cookie we didn’t know we needed, and apparently, it’s $8.
Six months ago, Reddit/u/Retsnom26 posted a picture of the bright red Supreme Oreo, asking if it was legit. Some people voiced that the detail quality was off, but others seemed to think it was real. Then, on Feb. 17, verified Twitter account @TheSurpremeSaint, which is not affiliated with the brand, posted a picture of the cookie with the caption “Coming Soon.” Later that day, @DropsByJay posted what appears to be the first packaging of the Supreme Oreos. Still following us?!

Coming this season but for now a look at the official packaging.

The cookie is bright red, with “Supreme” where “Oreo” typically is, and stars are featured all around. It appears in the brand’s spring/summer 2020 accessory line look book, so we’re hoping that these will be available to the masses — even if it costs us more than a venti drink at Starbucks.
Now let’s talk about flavor, because we know Oreo doesn’t skimp on bringing us new tastes. Based off of the red cookie and white creme, you’d think it would be red velvet, but that flavor already exists with a cream cheese creme. It’s always possible that the cookie tastes like a regular Oreo, but just has the decked-out looks. Basically, we have no idea what to expect when we bite into one.
