Owen Wilson lined up for role in 'Wonder'
Owen Wilson could be set to star opposite Julia Roberts in the upcoming movie ‘Wonder'.
The actor is in talks with Lionsgate to take on the role in the adaptation of the R.J. Palacio YA novel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The script, adapted and penned by Jack Thorne and Steve Conrad, follows the story of a young boy, Auggie Pullman, who is faced with adversity at school due to his facial deformity. The lead character will be played by 'Room' breakout star Jacob Tremblay, with Roberts playing his mother and Wilson potentially playing his father. Stephen Chbosky will direct.
