Pack your bags: 7 long weekends for Singapore in 2020

It may only be April but you can already start planning next year’s vacations as Singapore will see seven long weekends in 2020.

According to the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) list of public holidays for next year released on Monday (8 April), seven public holidays in 2020 will fall on either a Friday or Sunday.

For holidays that fall on a Sunday, this means that the following Monday after will be a public holiday.

Good Friday (10 April), Labour Day (1 May), Hari Raya Haji (31 July) and Christmas Day (25 December) will each fall on a Friday. Meanwhile, the Lunar New Year (26 January), Hari Raya Puasa (24 May) and National Day (9 August) will fall on a Sunday.
