If you had to name the friendliest people in your life, your hairdresser would probably place in the top 10.
Always willing to hear you moan about your bad day at work and eager to share holiday recommendations, hairdressers seem to have a permanent smile on their faces.
In the post, he explained: “Because you spend hours standing with your feet rotated forward, whilst holding a brush in one hand and a hairdryer in the other for hours and hours, your muscles develop and start holding your skeletal system in an unnatural off centre position.”
Therefore, when a hairdresser then puts down her equipment after a long day to try and relax in a natural position, it can prove a strain on the back.
So what does Patel recommend for those struggling when their job requires them to stand on their feet all day?
In the post, the massage therapist writes: “To reset your muscles we need to Gua Sha [a Chinese medical method designed to improve circulation] all the scar tissue and then pin and stretch your muscles. So, next time you look at your hairdresser and think they have an easy life, think of these pictures and see how much they sacrifice their own health just so your hair can look good!”
