Pakistan 161-5 chasing mammoth total against England
Pakistan were 161 for five, needing a further 404 runs to reach their victory target of 565, at tea on the fourth day of the second Test against England at Old Trafford on Monday. Asad Shafiq was 35 not out and Sarfraz Ahmed five not out. Earlier, England declared their second innings on 173 for one, with captain Alastair Cook 76 not out and Joe Root unbeaten on 71. Pakistan lead the four-match series 1-0 after their 75-run win in the first Test at Lord's.
