Parc Clematis banks on its sprawling site

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Befitting its size as a mega development, Parc Clematis has been recognised on several fronts. The development clinched four titles — Design Excellence, Landscape Excellence, Top Development and Top Mega Development — at the EdgeProp Excellence Awards 2020 Virtual Ceremony.

The development is located along Jalan Lempeng, which is home to Clementi’s mature estate. It comprises 1,450 units across nine 24-storey residential tower blocks, six units of two-storey strata bungalows, and 12 units of two-storey strata terrace homes. With 36 unit layouts across the whole development, the developer, SingHaiyi Group, believes Parc Clematis would cater to a wide range of preferences.

Designed for varying tastes

To cater to various demands, SingHaiyi designed each residential block differently. First, there is “Contemporary”, which is designed for “hip, trendy and young families”. The towers in this style feature a monochromatic grey skin with expanded mesh panels. Facilities that blend in with the contemporary resort living theme include a leisure pool, accompanied with lush vertical landscaping.

Then there is “Elegance” where three tower blocks are targeted for families. The design for this incorporates an earth-toned colour palette inspired by timber that is offset by patterns, forming a subtly elegant facade. To fit in with the theme of family resort living, the landscape in this zone features a leisure kid’s pool and a dining pavilion, among other resort-like recreational facilities.

Next is “Signature” which caters to those who are attracted to classy and elegant architectural design. Star to this theme is a 50m lap pool and an exclusive hydro-therapy pool nestled within the lush landscape.

Lastly, the “Masterpiece” theme comprises strata houses of 12 terraces and six bungalows, dressed also in an earth-toned facade. A 50m lap pool fronts these homes, which are also nestled in lush greenery that lead out to private gardens. This zone has an “exclusive ambience typical of resort villas”.

Community lifestyle

SingHaiyi has also worked Parc Clematis’ site to its advantage. Sprawled across 400,000 sq ft, the developer has ensured that there are sufficient facilities for its residents. Homeowners at the development will also be able to enjoy recreational amenities such as a communal kitchen space where residents can gather to hone their culinary skills. There is also a multi-purpose entertainment room, which can be used for gaming or movies. A sliding door transforms the entire room into an expansive mini theatre.

For those who lead an active lifestyle, sports amenities on the ground include a tennis court as well as fitness zones equipped with equipment such as parallel bars, sportbikes and decline benches. There is also a multi-purpose court.

There are even facilities catered for the introverts. Residents who seek more private spaces to relax or read can chill in some of the lawns or pavilions. For those who love reading indoors, there is a dedicated reading room in the clubhouse.
