Iconic Sports Illustrated model Paulina Porizkova is proving that gold bikinis and an age-positive attitude never go out of fashion.
The 56-year-old supermodel struck a stunning pose in a gilded swimsuit she's had for five years during a recent beachside holiday.
Paulina shared the jaw-dropping shot to her Instagram account, jokingly comparing herself to the tree trunk she was leaning on.
"A vacation pick: doing my best impersonation of a wood pillar. In a string bikini," she quipped.
The Czech-American beauty revealed that the bikini was 'about five years old' and had become a recent favourite of hers.
"This is why I hold on to all my clothing," the mother of two added. "I always seem to like it better a few years down the line. When it's [no] longer fashionable or worn by everyone."
She also made sure to add her go-to hashtags #SexyHasNoExpirationDate and #BetweenJLoandBettyWhite in the caption.
Sports Illustrated calling
Paulina's sexy seaside snap was a big hit with her friends and followers on social media, who hailed her as "stunning" and "super-gorgeous."
"You are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!" fellow model Kristen McMenamy gushed.
"Stunner as always," wrote actress Tarina Patel. "Old is gold they say."
"Is that Sports Illustrated calling?" added a fan.
At age 18, Paulina became the first woman from Central Europe to feature on the cover of the magazine's famed 'Swimsuit Issue'.
Earlier this year Paulina spoke to Yahoo Life about "trying to look my age and be visible" as an older woman.
"I think I look more like my age, so for me to do a provocative shot, where you can see the ropes in my neck — which I actually like, I think they're cool — and you see my wrinkles and quite often I don't wear any makeup," she said.
"It's me trying to incorporate the fact that I look 56 with the fact that I can still look good, rather than look younger."
Paulina delved into her wardrobe to select another gold vintage item — a 15-year-old Dolce & Gabbana gown — to wear to the Academy Awards earlier this year.
She told her Instagram followers that the metallic frock made her look like a "female Oscar"— the perfect consolation prize for her filmmaker beau, Aaron Sorkin, to take home in lieu of an actual statuette.
The Trial of the Chicago 7 director Aaron, 59, and Paulina are thought to have started dating earlier this year, and their red carpet appearance in April marked their public debut as a couple.
Earlier in May, Paulina told her fans that she was "taking a small vacation somewhere special with someone special" however it's not clear if that 'someone special' was Aaron.
