Pedestrian dies after Sarnia collision

Sarnia police say a pedestrian has died after being hit by a pickup truck on Oct. 9.

The collision took place at the intersection of Christina Street North and George Street around 10 a.m., according to a news release issued Thursday by the Sarnia Police Service.

The 69-year-old man was taken to hospital and has since succumbed to his injuries, police said.

They are continuing to investigate.
