Pedestrian in ICU with serious injuries after south Windsor collision, police say

Emergency crews responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Dougall Avenue and Roseland Drive in south Windsor. (Riley Laychuk/CBC - image credit)

A 25-year-old pedestrian is in the intensive care unit of a Windsor hospital with what police call "serious injuries" after being struck by a vehicle late Tuesday night.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Dougall Avenue and Roseland Drive, according to authorities.

Police say the vehicle was travelling northbound on Dougall at the time — and remained on scene following the collision.

Windsor police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get a hold of them as officers continue with their investigation.
