Pensioners Protest Outside Government Buildings in Barcelona

Protesters gathered outside government buildings in Barcelona on March 17 to highlight their frustration with a pension rise of 0.25% which, due to inflation, leaves pensioners with less spending power than before.

Reports said around 30,000 people protested in Barcelona. Additional protests also took place across Spain and the Canary Islands.
