IPOH: Perak is looking into adapting the state's long-term development plan with the national-level development plan or Transformasi Nasional 2050 (TN50).

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir said currently, the efforts to develop the state was based on the Perak Amanjaya development plan, which focused on the inclusive transformation agenda that covered three main aspects of development.

"The three aspects are socio-economy, sectoral and physical development," he said when answering a question by Datuk Zabry Abd Wahid (Barisan Nasional-Trong) during the State Assembly here today.

Zabry was asking about the state government's future plan to further develop the state.

Replying to Zabry's additional question, Zambry said the state government would not neglect development in Perak rural areas and would ensure residents were included in the state government's main development agenda.

Among the plan was to develop small towns such as Trong, where a class D fire station and a hall in Padang Gajah area will be build, he said.
