The management of a holiday resort in Perlis has been asking its visitors to stop ruining its fake tulips when posing for photos.

People had been resting their bodies on the bed of artificial flowers or trampling on them while having their photos taken, according to the Tasoh Lake Resort Saturday. It added that workers have had to fix the flowers individually.

“Let’s work together to care for these flowers,” it said on its page. “Don’t step, don’t sit, don’t sleep on the flowers. Don’t pluck them too.”

The management also shared photos of visitors doing the right thing by standing next to the floral display when taking photos. The display, which stretched several meters, would light up in colorful display at night.

“Take care of the beauty of this place … it’s not easy to develop all this,” a woman named Miza Rasmi commented.

“It’s more important to know your angle and technique when taking photos. You don’t need to go and lie down among the flowers at all,” another named Suriati Rose said.
