New Delhi, Oct 07 (ANI): Prices of petrol and diesel surged once again on October 07 across metros, touching a record high in the country. The price of petrol was increased by 29 paise in Delhi and stood at Rs 103.24 per litre. The petrol price in Mumbai is Rs 109.25 per litre, which is an increase of 29 paise. Kolkata saw the highest surge of 29 paise, which is retailing petrol at the rate of Rs 103.94 per litre while in Chennai the revised price of petrol is Rs 100.75. Similarly, the price of diesel was hiked by nearly 26 paise.
