Petrol, diesel prices stay as GST kicks in – Bernama
The retail price of RON97 at RM2.25 a litre for April is inclusive of the goods and services tax (GST) of 6%, according to the Finance Ministry.
"The RON97 price is unchanged from March and not as reported in a local daily, that it is RM2.385 after the GST," a ministry spokesman told Bernama.
Yesterday, the price of RON95, RON97 and diesel for April 2015 was announced as being maintained at that for March.
The RON95 price was unchanged at RM1.95 a litre, RON97 at RM2.25 a litre and diesel at RM1.95 litre. – Bernama, April 1, 2015.
