Phillip Schofield was forced to apologise after Martin Clunes swore three times on This Morning.
The actor accidentally let slip a string of expletives as he talked about the new series of his show Manhunt while he was on the ITV daytime show.
Schofield didn’t interrupt as Clunes turned the air blue, but his co-host Holly Willoughby clapped her hand over her mouth as she seemed to see the funny side.
Once the star had finished speaking, Schofield waded in to say sorry for all the swear words.

“I haven't apologised for each of the bits of bad language, because obviously it would take up far too much time,” he said.
“So what I'm going to do is I’m just going to apologise for all three of them in one.”
Clunes was left looking a little red-faced and apologised for his bad language.
But, laughing, Schofield told him: “God it’s good to have you back, we’ve missed you."
Viewers thought the actor’s slip was hilarious.
“New record! Three times swearing!” said one person on Twitter. “Martin we love you and miss you on telly!!”
Another joked that he was a “legend”.
One fan said they only caught the first two words that the Doc Martin star let slip.
“Shame that I missed the third,” said the viewer.
