PHOTOS: US President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un arrive in Singapore

US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un arrived in Singapore on Sunday (10 June) ahead of their much-anticipated summit.

Kim, who flew aboard an Air China aircraft that landed at Changi Airport at around 2.30pm, met Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana later on Sunday.

Amid tight security, hundreds of spectators found spots around the Tanglin area to witness Kim’s arrival at the St Regis hotel, where he is staying.

Trump arrived at the Paya Lebar Airbase in his official plane, the Air Force One, at around 8.20pm before leaving for the Shangri-La Hotel, where he is staying.

Trump is scheduled to meet Kim for their historic summit at the Capella Hotel on Sentosa on Tuesday.
