Best dressed this week
You know summer’s right around the corner when the clothes get brighter, and hemlines jump higher. This week, the blue carpet at 2015’s MTV Movie Awards saw an overload of vibrant hues: both Anna Camp and Bella Thorne picked Peter Pilotto pieces, and Brittany Snow chose a red and pink number by Brandon Sun. Going easy on the colour, and showing some leg were Jennifer Lopez in a Versus Versace blazer-and-mini duo, Cara Delevingne in Reem Acra and Holland Roden in a honeycomb-print Caterina Gatta number. Closer to home, Deepika Padukone and Richa Chadha were the amongst the few to dress summery. Padukone’s collared dress would fit perfectly at a lazy brunch, while Chadha’s green Diva’ni pick carried a dressier vibe. Not ready to Mumbai’s breezier months adieu, Kalki Koechlin opted for a royal blue Payal Khandwala and Priyanka Chopra went all-black in Ashi Studio. Weather be damned, these ensembles were some of the best the week saw.
