Best dressed this week
Bollywood went experimental on the red carpet this week, thanks to the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards. While Alia Bhatt played princess in a baby pink Isabel Sachis gown, Sonal Chauhan and Nargis Fakhri favoured orange, the former in a Tanieya Khanuja crop and skirt, the latter in a high-low Gauri & Nainika gown. On a different red carpet, Shraddha Kapoor attended the Global Indian Music Awards in a Sandro pantsuit and a twisted top knot. Internationally, sheers were a clear favourite with Elie Goulding, Emma Stone and Jennifer Lopez. Julianne Hough and Emmy Rossum celebrated the upcoming summer with see-through dresses embroidered with multi-coloured blooms. Closer to home, Anushka Manchanda did Manish Arora proud, picking one of his crazy, sheer skirts for a night out. As for top colour, white was a winner yet again. Jenna Dewan-Tatum wore it to the Oscars, Aditi Rao Hydari played with red-on-white with Gauri & Nainika, and Shilpa Shetty kept it classy in an Amit GT gown.
