Da Vinci exhibit opens at Mind Museum

Hear ye, hear ye, Filipino art and science enthusiasts: Leonardo Da Vinci is in town! This, as what is dubbed as the “most comprehensive” exhibit of the Italian polymath comes to Manila. “Da Vinci—The Genius” will run from September 1 to November 30, 2013 at the Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City.

The exhibit features more than 200 works attributed to the so-called archetype of the Renaissance Man, from paintings, war and flying machines, to his codices and even his notebooks. Developed by Grande Exhibitions in Australia, it will also allow guests to “find Leonardo” through interactive experience.

The Da Vinci exhibit joins other science galleries at the Mind Museum, which has become a popular destination for kids and adults alike since it opened in March 2012. The museum is divided into five main parts: the Atom, Earth, Life, Universe and Technology galleries. It also features an outdoor activity space called “Science-in-the-Park.”

The Mind Museum is open all week except Monday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (extended up to 9 p.m. on Saturdays). Guests may choose from the following ticket options at the museum entrance or online:
-all day museum (including Da Vinci) at P950
