Deepika Padukone parties for 'Piku'

It's safe to say that when it comes to films and fashion, Deepika Padukone has been on a winning streak lately. This weekend was no exception for the star, who hosted a party for her friends to celebrate the success of her latest release, Piku at Mumbai restaurant Olive.

There to congratulate Padukone were friends new and old from the Bollywood family. Guests included Padukone's very first co-actor Shah Rukh Khan, Piku co-star Irrfan Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Sophie Choudry, Dia Mirza, Malaika Arora Khan, Fawad Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sonu Sood, Armaan Jain, Sohail Khan and Dino Morea. Vogue's Anaita Shroff Adajania, joined by directors Homi Adajania, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Gauri Shinde, Farah Khan, Ayan Mukherjee, Anurag Kashyap and designer Manish Malhotra made sure to stop by as well.

While Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor rekindled their bromance, Deepika Padukone loaded her phone with selfies with Alia Bhatt, Sophie Choudry and Malaika Arora Khan. Shah Rukh Khan ended the night with a super supportive tweet.

It's a combination of humorous encounters and a surprisingly realistic depiction of family bonds that's made Piku a topic of appreciation with Bollywood fans. Haven't watched it yet? Pencil it into your schedule this weekend, and make sure you take your parents along.
