Inside the launch of Miss Vogue
On April 13, a stand-alone issue that speaks to a younger Vogue audience made its way for the first time in the Indian market. We're talking about Miss Vogue, with Alia Bhatt as its very first cover star.
Why her? "Alia is someone who embodies both Vogue and Miss Vogue--our choice of cover star was always clear," said editor Priya Tanna at the launch.
Dressed in a denim jumpsuit by Kanika Goyal label, the 22-year-old star interacted with a bevy of bloggers and fans at the event. One of our favourite moments from the questionairre: “Who is Miss Vogue?” asked a voice in the crowd. "She is fun, fabulous and really fresh," answered Bhatt.
