Jeanette Aw's illustrations star in this year's Children's Season in Singapore

Local actress Jeanette Aw's illustrations for her illustrated book "Sol's World: Somebody to Love" is brought to life in the exhibition at the National Museum of Singapore. Aw's work is part of Children's Season, an annual event held for young children to experience the culture and heritage of the world around them. It is back again this year for the eighth year running. Beginning from 30 May till 28 June, 50 activities have been programmed across 19 museums in Singapore for kids as young as four years old. From child-friendly displays in exhibitions to educational workshops, young children can get hands on and have fun with the interactive exhibitions. Presented by the National Heritage Board and Museum Roundtable, here are the highlights of the exhibitions at two participating museums — National Museum of Singapore and Asian Civilisations Museum.
