Lee Kuan Yew's last journey from Istana to Parliament House

The gun carriage carrying the late Lee Kuan Yew's body started its journey at the Istana and made its way to the Parliament House on Wednesday (25 March 2015). A Gurkha Contingent bag piper played Auld Lang Syne as the procession left the Istana. Crowds of people were waiting and chanted as the cortege passed by them. Some called out, "Lee Kuan Yew!", "Lee Kuan Yew!" and others shouted, "MM Lee, we love you!". The body of the late Lee Kuan Yew will lie in state at the Parliament House from 25 March to 28 March.
