There are around 80 species of migratory birds that regularly flock to the Candaba Swamp when it is winter season in other countries. Local residents have observed that some migratory birds, like the grey heron, have learned to nest in the Candaba Swamp and has adapted to the local environment. (Mike Alquinto/NPPA Images)
