Napoles's pricey cars
Amid the hunt for businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles, who is now at the center of a multi-billion peso pork barrel scandal, Filipinos have been told to remain vigilant. Justice Secretary Leila De Lima on Thursday said anyone who sees Napoles and her brother, Reynaldo Lim, could take them by citizens' arrest.
This, after a Makati court ordered their arrest over serious illegal detention of whistleblower Benhur Luy. Authorities have yet to serve the warrant, however, with De Lima citing Napoles's connections as a hurdle. Napoles is also believed to own some 28 houses and 30 cars.
The Justice department has released a list of the vehicles registered under Napoles and her companies, while asking the public to report to authorities if they spot any of the cars. We've rounded up file photos of the cars, many of them luxury vehicles, and estimated prices. (Kim Arveen Patria)
