Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2016 highlights

About 46,000 runners took part in the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore this year. The race, now in its 15th edition started at Orchard Road and ended at the Padang.

Kenyan runners once again dominated the event, with Felix Kiptoo Kirwa clocking 2:17:17 to win the men's 42.195km race, while Rebecca Kangogo Chesir clocked 2:43:03 to win the women's full marathon.

Singaporeans Mok Ying Ren and Jasmine Goh were the top male and female local finishers.
