The third tranche of the City Harvest Church leaders' funds mismanagement case commenced on Monday, 13 January, with the six accused -- founder Kong Hee, senior pastor Tan Ye Peng, former and current finance managers Serina Wee and Sharon Tan, board secretary John Lam and former member Chew Eng Han -- arriving in court to attend the proceedings, expected to last till 10 February.
Queues to court were noticeably shorter and started significantly later than in the previous two tranches, and there were even several leftover public court passes by 9am.
On Monday morning, a new witness took the stand -- Tiang Yii from Baker Tilly, who in 2007 oversaw the auditing process for City Harvest Church and Xtron Productions, the entertainment firm that managed Kong Hee's wife Ho Yeow Sun.
