Pia Wurtzbach not hosting "Asia's Next Top Model"

The Miss Universe Organisation denies receiving any offer from the show's producers

29 Aug - The Miss Universe Organisation has denied rumours saying that Pia Wurtzbach is set to host the upcoming new season of "Asia's Next Top Model".

As reported on Push, rumours of the beauty queen's supposed involvement in the Cycle 5 of the hit reality show sparked recently when a supposed publicity poster for the programme went viral on Facebook, with a photo of her and the word "Pia Wurtzbach New Host" written on the poster.

It was rumoured that the beauty queen will be replacing Georgina Wilson, the latest host of the show following Nadya Hutagalung and Cindy Bishop.

However, when asked about it recently, Esther Swan, the Director of Talent Department for Miss Universe denied it in a press statement, saying that there was no offer made to Wurtzbach from the show.

"All inquiries and requests for Miss Universe appearances and bookings are sent for my attention. Having Ms. Wurtzbach take part in the [AsNTM] series would be great, [but] I have not received an invitation for consideration."
