Pillsbury Is Selling The Cutest Ready-To-Bake R2-D2 Sugar Cookies At Target
Maybe you saw Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker over the holiday break and loved it. Maybe you saw Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker over the holiday break and hated it. Regardless, the highly controversial movie cemented one common belief in all of us: Our collective love for R2-D2 will never die. Semi-related (I guess?): Target is now selling a ready-to-bake pack of R2-D2 sugar cookies.
The product, of course, is brought to you by the bonafide slice-and-bake experts over at Pillsbury. "Quick and easy R2-D2 cookies ready out of your oven in just minutes," the product description explains. Each pack yields 24 droid-emblazoned cookies, and it looks like they're going for less than $3 a sleeve. And while they're also specified to be "holiday shape" treats, it looks like these are very much still in stock, despite the current January-ness of it all.
And while you may look at the adorable packaging and think you're getting cookies with different Star Wars characters on each of them, this is really just for R2-D2 die-hards as that's the only design included. That said, @Pillsbury, I'm fully expecting a roll-out of BB-8 cookies now, as R2-D2 is fantastic and all, but my heart belongs to that tiny round bb always. Actually, I'd take some C-3PO-topped desserts, too. Can we just get all of them ASAP, please? TYSM!
