KOTA KINABALU: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) is waiting for approval from Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal on proposed individuals as appointed assemblymen and chairmen for government-linked companies (GLC).
Sabah PKR chairman Christina Liew said the party had proposed several members to Mohd Shafie and was waiting for approval.
“When the time comes, we will announce it,” she said during a press conference after launching of PKR divisions’ annual general meeting 2018 here.
The meeting was officiated by Deputy Prime Minister cum PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
Earlier, in her speech Liew urged party members to respect the outcome of the elections next month.
“I hope all members who have offered to contest during the elections to show their true commitment and struggle throughout the campaigning period,” she said.
“It is also the same after the elections. We have to be united and respect the outcome.” © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
