QUEZON CITY, Philippines — The Philippine National Police assures that the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Region-8 will not give special treatment to former Police Official Superintendent Marvin Marcos.
Marcos is temporarily detained at CIDG Region 8 facility while the court and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology are yet to decide on the appropriate detention facility for Marcos and his co-accused in the killing of former Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa.
PNP Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Dionardo Carlos said they are leaving the decision where to detain the suspects up to the court.
