Pokwang says people still doubt partner Lee O'Brian

2 Jun – Pokwang recently admitted that people are still doubting her partner Lee O'Brian, despite the fact that they are still together following the birth of their child.

As reported on Inquirer, the comedienne, who spoke about her relationship on Toni Gonzaga's online show, "I Feel You" recently, stated that the biggest challenge that the two of them are still going through is people's scepticism with O'Brian's intention, with many believing that he is using her.

"They have not moved on from that. We already have a child. Is that not proof enough that we love each other? He left whatever he had in America and he did not know what he would face here," she said.

However, Pokwang stated that they have learned to ignore these comments, as they know each other better.

The couple first met each other on the set of 2014's "Edsa Woolworth", where O'Brian played the comedienne's love interest. The actor stated that he found Pokwang very beautiful and thought that the actress was trying to play hard to get.

He then admitted to pursue the comedienne after the film's release before finally getting together. Their daughter Malia was born in 2018.
