The Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratory has released the result of the initial drug test conducted on Supt. Lito Cabamongan on Thursday night.

In a text message, Crime Lab Director PCSupt. Aurelio Trampe said, Cabamongan tested positive for illegal drugs after undergoing several sets of examinations.

Cabamongan and several others were arrested on Thursday after they were caught in a pot session at a house in Everlasting Homes in Las Piñas City.

But CSup. Trampe clarified that the errant cop will still undergo a confirmatory drug test as part of the legal process, the result of which will be released next week.

If the confirmatory test comes out  positive, he will face an administrative case of grave misconduct which will result in his dismissal from service.

The PNP also plans to have the cop undergo a neuropsychiatric test after he was found dancing naked in front of many people.

Based on a complaint this month, Cabamongan also asked for free tickets from a cinema house to do yoga inside.

The PNP Crime Lab reveals Cabamongan is the 196th police who tested positive of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in a random drug test. – Lea Ylagan | UNTV News & Rescue
