PUCHONG: Selangor police Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) raided an entertainment outlet in Bandar Puteri Puchong early this morning and detained 38 foreign women believed to be hired as the outlet’s guest relation officers (GROs). The outlet operator was also believed to have used the GROs, who were in their 20s and 30s, to provide sex service for patrons. State D7 staff officer DSP Mohd Khaizam Ahmad Shahabudin said checks revealed that the women, from Vietnam and Thailand, had misused their social visit pass. “The GROs were believed to have provided sex service with prices between RM200 and RM300 based on the offers and tips from the customers. “Six men, including four foreigners, who were suspected to be the outlet workers were also detained,” he said. Khaizam said checks revealed that the outlet, which had been operating since two years ago, had been raided several times by the authorities. © New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd
